Autumn turned to look at the car, her gaze lingering over the trunk. "And all of our supplies? We already had to cut down when we grabbed stuff from the truck, and now there's no way we'll be able to carry everything we have, especially when we're carrying Mr. Sleepyhead."

Autumn wasn't liking this. She had thought that joining these people would be a good idea for her safety, as well as Deryk's. But now, two of them were dead, one unconscious, and their car was totaled. All on the first day. And now they were probably going to have to leave more supplies behind.
"Okay, first, we need to be absolutely sure that this car won't run. Only then will we consider walking, and I think it would be best to have half of us wait here with Talon while the other half goes off in search for something better. A car, a safehouse, whatever. But if we don't bring down his swelling soon," she said, casting an anxious glance at Talon. "He likely won't survive."

"Well it's basically crushed in and smokes flying out I the f@cling engine,"Max said looking at them, "basically it can run if I can get other parts. If me and Ellie can carry Talon, you as Brian can stay here with the supplies. We can find the parts and make our way back 'ere."

"Maybe Autum should go to," Brian suggested, "you know an extra hand. I'm sure I can handle Deryk and Talon."
