"Cant tell till I'm closer," Max yelled back. he stepped closer toward it. The figure was definitely human. it was laying on its front and he couldn't tell if it was alive or alive again.

"If it's just laying there, it would probably make sense to just shoot it," Autumn said matter-of-factly.

"But what if it's not dead?" Ellie said, taking a shaky stand up, brushing off her past shocks, and taking a deep breath. "Don't shoot it until you know it's a zombie!"

Max cocked his bow and aimed it at the body. As his finger went to push the trigger the figure shot up. It lunged at Max and knocked him to the ground. It was a walker and it atempted to bite his neck. Max tried to push it off but was pinned under the dead weight.

"Yeah, but if it's a human it's likely suffering. It wouldn't be fair to leave it like that." Autumn looked back to Max. "Can you see what it is?"
Just then the body shot up. "F*cking hell!" Autumn shouted. She ran forward, wanting to get the walker off of Max before shooting, so as not to have an accident. Still running, she gave the head a good kick. The momentum served to distract the zombie for a moment, but nothing more. "Ellie!" Autumn screamed over her shoulder, continuing to attempt to pry off the zombie.

"Gah!" Ellie screamed, looking between her hands. Shoot it and maybe kill Max? Don't? After a few seconds of minimal thought and maximum worry, she took careful steps towards the zombie and kicked it right in the crotch. Maybe she hit Max too, but that wasn't necessarily the issue.
Taking her shotgun, she butted it into the zombie's brain and pried it out, the butt of the gun smothered in guts.

Max sighed and pushed the Zombie off. He breathed heavily and looked at Ellie, "Shortstack you nearly bagged me," he said as he pulled himself up.

"Sorry!" Ellie replied, giving him a nervous smile. "I didn't, though! That counts for something, right?" Stopping to take stock of the situation at hand, she looked between the dead zombie and the equally sickly-looking Talon. "That was a scare we didn't need," she muttered, shuddering slightly.

"Yeah good thing, we defiantly didn't need that. Always fun to shoot things though," Max said looking back at the car, "can it still run?"

Ellie shrugged. "I guess. I spent my free time hunting deer, not fixing cars. You know if it's running?" She sighed, looking up at Max with her eyebrows raised and lips pressed together. "Besides, the only place we need to get to now is somewhere with a real supply of ice so we can get Talon up and at 'em again--and then we can regroup."

Brian was looking at a map in the car, "there's a gas station not far from here. They might have a cooler with ice," he said as Max walked to the hood of the car.
Max kneeled down and looked at te damage, "well it's smashed," he said popping the hood. He looked inside it as smoke billowed out. "Engines gone to shoot, guess we have to hoofer."

"We need a car, though," Ellie said, not moving an inch. "Otherwise we're stuck in the middle of nowhere just on our feet. Ice, then transport--we need both of those ASAP, as well as some food and water." She sighed, realizing that getting those items may be harder than it sounded. "Best case scenario, we get all of those."

"That's why the gas station is best," Brian said looking at them, "it might have all three."
"Have to agree with Brian," Max said slamming the hood, "this cars shot we either stay here or we go on foot for a bit."

"Well, who's going to carry Talon around? We can't just leave him here!" Ellie said, starting to walk back where Talon was lying down. "Someone has to carry him while we walk, then."

"Max and I will carry him," Brian said folding the map, "you and Autum can carry the supplies."
"Hell no I ain't carrying the Boy Scout," Max said looking at them, "can't we tie a rope and drag him."
