Autumn hesitated only a second longer, looking into the car, then back to Brian. She rushed to the back of the car, and pulled out a fireaxe that had been taken along from the warehouse, as well as a bottle of whiskey. She ran back to him and knelt down. "Drink this, as much as you can, and take this," she said, handing him her pistol. "Don't hesitate if he... If he gets out."

Brian ripped the top off with his teeth and spit it out. He took a big swig, "grab a stick or some thing for me to bite down on," he said looking at the axe, "then chop."

"You still haven't dealt with her," Max sighed, "don't tell me your adopting this stray. She Doesn't even seem useful."
