Doctor Who is awesome, so it needs its own thread. Whovians unite!
Also, beware that spoilers for Nu Who will be here. Possibly classic spoilers too, but I'll try not to post any, and I don't think anyone else will.
I just watched the classic episode "City of Death," and it was incredible. It takes place in Paris, where the Doctor (fourth incarnation) and his companion Romana (heheh) are trying to take a break. Obviously that doesn't work out as planned xD. They visit the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, and the plot is centered around the Mona Lisa. There are also some hilarious scenes (Duggan punching everything) and lines ("You're a beautiful woman, probably"). If you find Classic Who on Netflix, it's collection 14.
Anyways, on the topic of awesome episodes, what's your favorite and why?

After watching the Seventh Doctor serial "Time and the Rani," I've now watched episodes from every Doctor. Except I never finished a full episode of the Sixth Doctor, because... well, Doctor Who wasn't going through a good time then. I want to get some audio tapes with the Sixth Doctor because those are supposedly amazing. In the actual show, the Sixth Doctor was kind of a jerk, and the episodes were... bad. And his first companion was scared of him because he strangled her right after he regenerated. Shame, since the actor who played the Sixth Doctor is great. He deserved better episodes.

If anyone ever feels like watching Classic Who, I HIGHLY suggest "The Curse of Fenric." I just watched it, and WOW. If you thought David Tennant was dark at the end of The Waters of Mars, just wait until you see Sylvester McCoy at the end of this episode. It was heartbreaking to see the Doctor act the way he did... I watched the specific scene three times in order to absorb it all. It was a shock. I'd heard Sylvester McCoy's Doctor could be dark, but this episode more than proved that. You might want to watch the episode where the Doctor first meets Ace, "Dragonfire," before watching this. Might make more sense to you if you know how they met. It's not on Netflix, though... It shouldn't be too difficult to understand without that knowledge, though. Also, Ace is awesome. Beating a Dalek up with a baseball bat is seriously BADASS. P.S. go look up Cartmel Masterplan

My sister was looking up bloopers in Youtube when she found that and kept replaying it because it was so funny I love how he throws everything he has on the ground- his umbrella, his hat, his coat- then runs out of things to throw and throws himself on the ground.
