Classical, Rock, Soundtrack, R&B/Soul.
I was raised with the kind of music that my dad used to listen to.
So the classics like Beethoven, Wagner, Mozart, Strauss, Chopin and Tchaikovsky. We would always blast '1812 Overture' -the full fifteen minute one (canons included otherwise it wasn't the 'real thing'), and we'd just lie on the floor and listen to it.
That linked with opera. So Pavarotti, Bocelli ('Con Te Partiro' has always been my favourite), Il Divo, Giuseppe, etc.
Then the rock bands like Queen, Bon Jovi, Kiss, ACDC, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Led Zepplin, etc.
Love R&B/Soul. So Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Blues Brothers, all them goodies (THE SOUNDTRACK OF DREAMGIRLS!!).
Then band/swing (I think that's the genre), so like Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, etc.
Soundtrack because it includes a lot of songs. Like the soundtracks to 'The Bodyguard', 'Guardians of the Galaxy', 'Deadpool', and almost every Disney movie ever are great.
There are others but I've probs written too much
So pretty much, I like everything. It I had to choose a favourite though it would be a toss up between Rock or Classical.
