Armie kept out of the "conflict," sidestepping and hoping for the best. The captain could be a little harsh at times, and though Matsi definitely deserved to be punished for shirking her duties, the captain would probably punish her a little too much. But there was nothing Armie could do without, you know, breaking rules. And Armie only broke rules when they wouldn't get her fired.

Romana followed Xeria and took her own seat on the bridge. She began to pick at her hands, which felt odd, as if there was something on them.

Romana turns around, taking a moment to realise it was Xeria who had said that. "What...?" It was a very uncharacteristic thing for the captain to say. "I mean... You're masculine, but that's not a bad thing."
