Starship Role Play

Sorry for double posting but Opal and @jediunicorn could you try to get your forms to me as soon as possible? Thanks.

We're most likely going to start soon. I'm assuming that Opal and @jediunicorn are working on our forms as we speak. If not, joining is still open while the role play goes on.

In the meantime, I'll tell you guys the first plot, 'Space Madness', so you can get thinking. For those of you that have seen Star Trek: The Original Series, this plot is based off of the episode "The Naked Time" in season one. Starfleet is going to order us to go to a planet that had a group of scientists doing research because we haven't heard from them in six months. A landing party is going to beam down and get contaminated with this "Space Madness" that brings the deepest parts of everyone's personality to the surface. Soon the party will beam back up after finding nothing and contamiate the whole ship, which will descend into chaos. It's now up to those on the SS Xerxes to find out a solution before everyone ends up with the same fate as the scientists down below.

"Captain's log star date 2643.6," Xeria said into her log microphone, "We have just reached planet MI32, a class M planet, and are currently maintaining orbit. Starfleet has ordered the SS Xerxes to investigate a team of 16 scientists who were sent to the planet for research purposes and have not been heard from since. A landing party will be sent down shortly to investigate. Captain Xeria out."

She turned off her microphone and sat back in her chair and looked at the planet on the screen in front. After a few seconds of thought, she suddenly stood up. 

"Armie, Romana, and Farlon," Xeria said, "You're coming with me. Grab some tricorders, class II phasers, and communicators on your way to the transporter room. We need to be prepared."

She looked at her first officer, Matsi. "You will take over as acting captain while I am gone," she said and turned away. 

Xeria pressed a button on her captain's chair which opened a line up to the transporter room. 

"Technician Gargon," she said, "Prepare to send a landing party of four to the research station. Navigator Enna should have sent you the coordinates."

"The red one," Xeria replied, "Did you not learn this at the Academy?"

"Academy yes, yes academy," Gargon said leaning back in the chair, "Mesa remember now."

Gargon pushed buttons and turned knobs as he sat straight up on the chair. His long tongue hung out I his mouth as he waited for the people to come in.

"What are you doing?" Xeria asked Gargon, "The others have not arrived yet."
