This is just a general chat topic for things you don't think quite need their own thread, but you'd like to share anyways. Maybe you bought a new game, got a new high score or want to ask a gaming question.
I just started a new run-through on Skyrim. Playing as an imperial for like the third time lol.

Is there like a main quest/campaign/storyline to Skyrim? Because I've been thinking of playing it. But I don't really opt for big open world games where there's like a bajillion side quests and no real main mission.

Georgia, you don't know what Skyrim is? Have you been living under a rock? Nah, I kid, I kid. But I'll sit back and let User give you the run down on Skyrim.

But I don't really opt for big open world games where there's like a bajillion side quests and no real main mission. There is a main storyline, but there isn't a real focus on it, and it's not really necessary to compete the whole thing. Once you complete the first few parts you're basically free to do what you want (though continuing is required to learn more dragon shouts). However, some of the side quests are awesome. I personally enjoy the ones where you join a faction/guild/whatever. Traveling through the open world can be a bit boring, but once you go somewhere you can fast travel back to it so it isn't too bad. What exactly is Skyrim? That is a big question. Skyrim is the 5th installment of the Elder Scrolls series (though I havent played the others). It was made by bethesda studios and released in 2011. It is an open world fantasy rpg where you play as the "dragonborn", and can be different races (like humans or elves). The main storyline is about defeating a dragon called Aldruin. There is hours upon hours of game play and it is a critically acclaimed game. I hope that answers your question!

I've played it a few times, not enough to know a lot about it, but I can tell you from what I experienced that it was fun

I finished my skyrim play through. I'm not sure what game I'm gonna start next... maybe a dragon age run? But idk, because I played it not that long ago and I don't want to get bored of it.

I just replayed all of the longstory episodes and I love them so much! If you haven't played it before, I'd definitely recommend it if your looking for a cute story based game. The first episode is free, but the rest do cost money.
